Apex Draws the Line
Drawing lines in Apex Nexus is as simple as a flick of the wrist! Rather than count grid lines as you would with Pencil & Paper, simply draw a line in any direction and Nexus will render the line and dimensions that you can easily edit to match your measurements by inking in the changes. Add in the optional ability to pass this information via Bluetooth from your DISTO™ laser measuring device, and you’ll be cooking with gas!

Customizable Area Codes
Apex Nexus Pro allows you to configure the Area Definitions to match your own building/use codes. You can do this directly through Nexus or transfer the Area Code file from Apex Medina (Desktop) to your Tablet PC for use in Nexus. This ensures that everything you do in the field matches up properly with your main systems back at the office.

Plug-In Architecture
With Apex Nexus-Pro, it's not "just" sketching anymore. We've developed a highly specialized Plug-In architecture that allows you to design (through our services) your own Smart Labels and Data Collection tools. Smart Labels & Data Collection Have you ever been sketching a property in the field and come across elements you need to capture? Smart Labels and Data Collection Plug-Ins are the ideal solution. Smart Labels allow you to label areas of yoru sketch and instantly ask you specific questions pertaining to that type of label. Data Collection allows you to capture everything else. Inputting rise & run or the degree of deflection, the construction of Angles in the field is easier than you ever thought it could be. Are Bay Windows and Geodesic Domes a problem? Don’t worry. Through a series of taps on our special alignment indicators, virtually any angle you encounter is made simple saving you valuable time and headache.

Let’s face it; curves are no fun at all and not always easy to measure. But once you have the necessary elements – drawing curves in Apex Nexus is a piece of cake! Or should we say pi? Simply choose the curve tool and draw it as you see it. Then based on the data available, ink in the changes and your curve will take shape real time. Drag & Drop Panel System We recognized early on that how you draw at your desk isn’t necessarily the same as how you draw in the field and that’s where Apex Nexus shines. The drawing paradigm is different but not unfamiliar. Apex Nexus introduces a free form approach to drawing. Simply draw your lines and shapes as you always have in any direction as well as any order. When you’re ready to define an Area, simply drag the Area Definition into the appropriate location and you’re done
