Workflow XT2 Convertible Bump Case with 'X' hand strap, handle, (2) D-Rings, Removable Screen Cover flap and removable 80" shoulder strap with pad. Battery Foam Filler is sold separately.
The biggest complaint about the OEM case shipped with your Dell Latitude XT2 is that it does not allow you to use your XT2 in Notebook mode. Also, the exterior fabric feels too soft and is susceptible to wear and tear. That's because the Dell case uses inferior construction types and fabric. The Dell Case is a traditional cut, and, sew construction (i.e. die cutting fabric, foam, paperboard stiffener, gluing, layering and sewing together). The fabric will bubble, warp, and likely tear over time. The fabric is something we would expect to see on a Portfolio case, not a "in the field" Bump Case. We are not sure if the OEM Dell Case was designed for the extended life battery. However, you can try and force the zipper shut!
Advantages of Workflow XT2 Convertible Bump Case with Removable Screen Cover Flap
The Workflow XT2 Convertible Bump Case with removable screen cover flap is designed for use with the extended life battery, and provides a battery foam filler for inserting if using the standard life battery. Our case has a thermoformed cross-lined foam construction, with vinyl and rigid poly laminated. It looks, feels and will provide for greater functionality and protection over a greater period of time. The key difference with the Workflow XT2 case is the zipper on 3 sides allowing for tablet and notebook use. The Dell case on has zipper on 2-sides of the case, which prevents access to the keyboard or use in notebook-mode.
