Motion Computing 3Year Warranty
The Motion F5 rugged tablet PC is the first Motion product that comes with a three-year limited warranty. Motion believes that the F5 can live up to the demands of mobile field professionals and therefore offers this long term warranty protection.
Additional Warranty Features
Warranty was created to protect against incidents that can occur in the field.
The F5 has been rigorously tested for conditions field workers may occasionally face such as bumps, drops or exposure to wind, heat and rain. The warranty leads the industry in protection for durable PCs, covering damage from short drops (approx. 36 inches) or exposure to rain and dust.
Motion also offers an optional Display Protection Plan (DPP) that provides accidental coverage for damage to the F5 display.
The F5 has been tested to ensure it can withstand common field-test scenarios including:
* Shock: Bumping unit against a hard surface while working.
* Temperature: Typical operating conditions (indoor/outdoor) for example, product left in the trunk of a vehicle during the summer or winter.
* Moisture: Working outdoors in light blowing rain. Rain moisture or possibly a liquid spill.
* Dust: Dusty outdoor conditions. Covered with dirt or dust – the system is cleanable with normal cleansers.
